Welcome to the Oto-Palatal-Digital Syndrome (OPD)* Resource Page.  If
you have been searching for information on OPD, you have probably found that even web
pages specifically focused on rare disorders do not mention OPD.  We hope that this page
will be helpful to you.

If you have read anything at all on this syndrome, you know that OPD is not so much a
diagnosis as it is a collection of characteristics that combine to make up the syndrome.
This particular combination is labeled OPD.

Very few people have been diagnosed with OPD and fewer have met anyone else with the
same diagnosis. Unfortunately, there is not only a lack of information, there is also a lack
of physicians that are familiar with OPD. Hopefully, the information here will help you in
your search to find answers.  Compiled here is information, not only on Oto-Palatal-Digital
Syndrome, but also on rare disorders in general, resources and other information that
may be helpful on such issues as craniofacial problems and respiratory difficulties.

*Oto Palato Digital Syndrome Type I and II can also be found under the following synonyms:

Andre Syndrome, Cranioorodigital Syndrome, Digito-Oto-Palatal Syndrome, FPO, Faciopalatoosseous Syndrome, OPD
Syndrome, Otopalatodigital Syndrome, Palato-Oto-Digital Syndrome, Taybi Syndrome
